AUDITION NOTICE – Pi THEATRE

Pi Theatre is seeking four actors to play male roles (1 x early 20s, 1 x
mid-to-late 20s, 1 x 30s, 1 x 40/50s yrs) for its production of The
Invisible Hand by Ayad Akhtar in April 2016. The Invisible Hand is a play by
Pulitzer Prize winning author Ayad Akhtar (Disgraced).

Richard Wolfe directs.

The production is a presentation by the Cultch and will appear on their
Historic Stage between April 5 and April 23, 2016. Rehearsals begin in
mid-March, 2016.

This production is contracted under the CAEA / PACT Canadian Theatre
Agreement. The characters in the play, as written by Mr. Akhtar, include
three individuals of Pakistani background and one non-defined “American”.

Please Note: Only actors selected for an audition will be contacted.
Applicants will receive sides to prepare in advance.

Audition Location:  The Test Kitchen studio at the PTC / Pi offices. 2nd
floor, 739 Gore Avenue, Vancouver

Audition Dates: Tuesday September 8 and Thursday September 10, 2015.

Audition Times: 6 PM to 10 PM

Deadline for applications: Friday, September 4, 2015 at noon
