EQUITY BYLAW UPDATES - DECEMBER 2015

Equity's Council encourages all members to be familiar with the rules that
govern membership in our Association. Electronic copies of the current
bylaws are always posted for review or download in the "Document Library"
section of EQUITYONLINE, and are available in print format upon request to
the Association.

Article 16: This bylaw has been reinstated with new wording to accommodate
the recent changes to an open-ended permit engagement policy for
performers and stage managers working in theatre. Permittees working in
either discipline are expected to join after a maximum of four permit
engagements, and permit engagements beyond this threshold are subject to a
premium on the filing fee.
