Audition
Brimstone and Treacle by Dennis Potter
Amy - mother
mid 50's - mid 60's
a motherly type of lady, patient with a deep (religious) faith would
scream every day to release her frustrations if she could has taken care
of her bed-ridden daughter for two years Must be able to produce an
excellent, lower middle class British accent.

Tom - father
mid 50's - mid 60's
an angry, frustrated, repressed man but with a vivid imagination
suspicious type. Must be able to produce an excellent lower middle class
British accent
 
Patti - daughter
early 20's
ex-art college student bed-ridden following a (hit-and-run) car accident
unable to communicate (other than produce unintelligible sounds)
extremely restricted movement extremely demanding role (mentally and
physically)

Regrettably, the only way this show is able to get off the ground is to
run it as a cooperative production. Despite this will be a quality
production and it is a wonderful play by one of the UK's best writers.

Rehearsals - commencing April 13th - Mon - Fri 10am - 6pm (for three
weeks)
Performance dates : May 4th - 17th
