Additional information: 
Upper Canada Playhouse is located in the Eastern Ontario community of
Morrisburg, operating under the jurisdiction of CAEA with an April show,
a flagship 4-show summer series June through October and a holiday show
November/December.

The TD/Carpenter will co-ordinate, supervise and be responsible for all
production aspects of the 4-Show Summer Season and execute the duties of
Head Carpenter for each of these shows. While working directly with the
Production Assistant/Carpenter, the TD/Head Carpenter will also work
closely with the artistic director, stage management, directors,
designers and other members of the production team. 

Candidates will be currently enrolled in or graduated from a theatre
production program at the college or university level and/or have
comparable experience as a professional theatre carpenter and technical
theatre supervisor. In addition to experience with the tools and
techniques of set construction, the candidate should also be familiar
with all areas of production including sound, lighting and performance
crew running duties. NOTE: There is also an April 17-May 3 work period
offered in addition to or separate from the above dates.
