Council President Allan Teichman has added a posting to his "Council Connection" blog.

At its November meeting, Council concluded work on changes to how members may be contracted when working at post-secondary institutions. In some instances, such as where the member was combining both teaching responsibilities and work within Equity’s jurisdiction, figuring out how to contract the member has been a matter of some tension with the school. Beginning this year, when working primarily as an educator within the post-secondary educational sector, members have a range of contracting options available to them...

The "Council Connection" blog is available at EQUITYONLINE (http://www.caea.com) or at http://councilconnection.blogspot.com . It shares the doings of Council with the Equity membership and most topics will reflect issues currently or recently under review by Equity's national Council.
