Rehearsals: August 24 – September 23, 2015
Run: September 24 – October 3, 2015

We are casting for:

- Medea (F): 30’s, Woman of Colour. Princess of Colchis, sorceress, wife to
Jason and mother of two boys.

- Jason (M): 30’s-40’s, Caucasian. Prince of Iolchus, leader of the
Argonauts, husband to Medea, later engaged to Glauce, Princess of Corinth.

- Chorus (F): Any age. Women from all backgrounds. A body of four
transformable actors who become various roles throughout the play, including
Creon, Aegeus, messengers – as well as the chorus of women who speak
throughout the play.

Auditions will take place
Sunday, July 12th, 10:00pm – 6:00pm
Monday, July 13th, 10:00am – 6:00pm
Tuesday, July 14th, 10:00am – 6:00pm

preference for your audition date. Submission deadline: July 11th, 2015

We would like for you to prepare one classic monologue. Script excerpts and
cold reads may occur at the audition. Selected actors will be asked to come
in for auditions.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
