Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: 
The National Arts Centre English Theatre encourages submissions from
artists of all cultural backgrounds.

Additional information: 
We are looking to fill the roles of several young men in their twenties.
One of these young men is a fiddler. 
We are also looking to fill the role of a 10-year-old boy. 
Further information on the production and roles will be available on
March 31.

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

To request an appointment, please submit your resume and headshot to 
auditionsottawa at nac-cna.ca 
no later than Tuesday, March 31, 2015. 
If auditioning for the role of the young boy, please send a recent photo
of yourself and a brief description of your performance training and
experience.

Those selected to audition will be asked to prepare 
two contrasting songs (32 bars each), and a two-minute monologue.
Piano accompaniment will be provided (please bring sheet music).
If auditioning for the fiddler, please bring your violin and 
prepare a jig or reel as one of your songs.
If auditioning for the young boy, please prepare one song (16 bars) and
a monologue.
Please indicate with your submission whether you are a member or
apprentice/permittee of CAEA.

The audition will also include a group dance call.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
