RATIFICATION VOTE ON THE PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE 2015-2018 CTA

As bargaining for the 2015-2018 Canadian Theatre Agreement (CTA) has
successfully concluded, Equity members will begin voting on the proposed
changes beginning June 1, 2015.

Equity and PACT agreed to make copies of the proposed changes for the
2015-2018 CTA available to the Equity and PACT memberships on Monday,
May 4, 2015. Equity members may review and/or download copies of the
proposed changes in the Member Only zone of EQUITYONLINE (www.caea.com).
Members must to be in good standing to sign in to EQUITYONLINE. 

The CTA ratification will commence June 1, 2015, and voting will be by
electronic methods only (telephone and Internet voting). The proposed
changes to the 2015-2018 CTA and voting instructions will be mailed to
all eligible voting members in late May.

In accordance with Bylaw 106(a) Regular, Life and Regular Extended Visa
members of Equity, in good standing, who have been engaged under any
theatre agreement or policy, with the exception of engagement under the
Artists' Collective Policy or the Festival Policy, within the six-year
period ending with the expiry date of the Agreement (August 24, 2009 -
June 28, 2015) will be eligible to vote in the 2015-2018 CTA
ratification. 

In addition, Regular, Life and Regular Extended Visa members of Equity,
in good standing, who registered to be part of the voting group for the
CTA by April 2, 2015 using the EQUITYONLINE form, are also eligible to
vote in the 2015-2018 CTA ratification.

Ratification Schedule
- Monday, June 1, 2015 - Voting by telephone and Internet begins at 9:00
a.m. ET
- Thursday, June 11, 2015 - Last day to be enumerated for ratification

- Thursday, June 18, 2015 - Last day to vote. Voting closes at 5:00 p.m.

- Friday, June 19, 2015 - CTA ratification results announced on
EQUITYONLINE and by e-drive EQUIFLASH
