Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
The audience at Shakespeare in High Park is one of the most diverse
audiences in Toronto, and as such we will be looking to assemble a cast that
reflects the diversity of Toronto—both visible and invisible.

Additional information:
Canadian Stage is currently casting for its Shakespeare in High Park 2016
productions: "All's Well That Ends Well" directed by Ted Witzel, and
"Hamlet" directed by Birgit Schreyer Duarte. Candidates can email their

Actor 4: 1st Lord Dumaine/Hamlet (PLEASE NOTE: THE ROLE OF HAMLET HAS
ALREADY BEEN CAST.)
Actor 5: King of France/Polonius
Actor 6: Parolles/Player King
Actor 7: 2nd Lord Dumaine/Horatio
Actor 8: Lavatch, a clown/Claudius
Actor 9: La Feu/Dr. Rosencrantz
Actor 10: Widow of Florence/Gertrude
Actor 11: Diana/Ophelia

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
