Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: GCTC encourages
submissions from artists of diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Additional information: The Great Canadian Theatre Company (GCTC) will be
holding general auditions for their upcoming 2016/17 season. Auditions will
take place in Ottawa on Monday, February 1 and Tuesday February 2 from 10:00
am to 6:00 pm. Please note: GCTC’s 2016/17 programming will be announced on
March 23, 2016.

PHOTO AND RESUMÉ FORMAT – IMPORTANT
To be considered for an audition, please submit a cover letter and ONE (1)
PDF file that includes both an updated headshot and resume, and save the
file using your name as the file name. (ie: Jane.Smith.pdf). Only
submissions formatted this way will be accepted.

We encourage you to send your submission by email to auditions at gctc.ca to
the attention of Nicole Milne, Artist Liaison. If necessary, you may instead
submit a hardcopy of your headshot and resume to the mailing address below.
Priority will be given to members of Canadian Actors’ Equity Association.

We thank all applicants for their interest, however only successful
candidates will be contacted to arrange an audition. Please do not call the
theatre to confirm receipt of package. We encourage submissions from artists
of diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Those selected to audition will be asked to prepare one (1) monologue that
is approximately 2 to 4 minutes in length. Callback audition dates to be
determined. People who have been seen at previous general auditions are
welcome to submit.

Audition dates: Monday, February 1 & Tuesday, February 2, 2016.
Time: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Deadline for submissions: 5:00 PM, Friday, January 15, 2016
