Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
SpringWorks: indie theatre & arts festival actively seeks works that explore
diversity, in all senses of the word.

Additional information:
SpringWorks, now entering its sixth season, is calling for submissions for a
juried multi-disciplinary arts festival in Stratford, Ontario. The festival
runs from May 12 – 22, 2016 with a repertory-style schedule in multiple
venues. SpringWorks is an exciting opportunity to showcase self-produced
works in a professional festival setting. We provide each accepted company
with a venue, a professional technician, front of house & ticketing
services, and global marketing of the festival. Works must run 50 – 70
minutes for the main stage festival and 25 – 50 minutes for the puppet
festival. We accept all forms of performance, such as theatre, dance, music,
poetry, & puppetry. Works may be fully produced or stage readings and
everything in between. This festival operates under the Canadian Actor’s
Equity “Festival Policy.” For more information and to submit, please go to
