2015-2018 EQUITY COUNCIL ELECTION RESULTS ANNOUNCED
-------------------------------
On October 30, 2015, the Equity membership elected new Councillor
representatives for the  2015-2018 Council term. Thank you to all Equity
members who cast their vote.

The newly elected Councillors will take office at the first meeting of
Equity's incoming Council, November 29 to December 1, 2015 in Toronto.
Councillors will vote on the positions of President and the officers of the
Association at this inaugural meeting.

Elections were held in those constituencies where the slate of candidates
was sufficient to require it. Nominated candidates in all other regions were
acclaimed.

With an overall 34.7% voter return rate, the 2015-2018 Council election
results are as
follows (including voter turnout by region):
