In this intensive, day long course you will learn techniques employed to
attain an authentic British Accent. Exercises for clarity and articulation
will be taught to support the shape of the accent.

What participants can expect to learn from this Accent Workshop: Study and
practice the accents of Received Pronunciation (British Standard), Cockney
and Estuary. Learn to apply the accent to your scripts.

Led by Convergence Theatre co-AD Aaron Willis, this two-day workshop will
explore research methods, script preparation, and ways to build healthy
relationships with actors, designers, and producers. Learn how to ask
yourself the questions that will lead you to a clear vision of the play, and
how your own instincts as an actor can help you guide a company to making
strong choices. Maximum 10 participants.
