Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
Two Planks and a Passion values gender equity and cultural diversity in all
of our practices.  We encourage submissions from all actors interested in
being part of this production. Artists of any ethnicity are strongly
encouraged to apply. The historical context of these productions will in no
way restrict our ability to consider artists of any ethnicity.

Additional information:
Video submissions will also be accepted. Actors will be asked to present a
2-min modern monologue and read from "Liberation Days", which will be
e-mailed ahead of the audition. Auditions will take place at the offices of
Actra Maritimes in Halifax between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. These auditions are to
fill a role to portray a male character in his 20s-30s.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
