The Citadel Theatre and the Banff Centre are committed to inclusivity in
casting.  We encourage submissions from all professional artists, regardless
of cultural identity, age, gender or any other basis of representation.

Additional information:
In 2008, the Citadel Theatre initiated a partnership with the Banff Centre
to offer an advanced creative development program aimed at enriching the
performance skills of established theatre professionals. Entering its ninth
year, this Program provides a unique and distinct professional development
opportunity to Canadian theatre artists.

Participants take part in daily group classes, followed by up to six hours
per day of individual coaching. There is no age restriction – we encourage
applications from established artists with extensive careers, as well as
from emerging artists with a suggested minimum of three years of
professional experience.

Following the five-week training period, participants will rehearse and
perform Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility, in a new adaptation by Tom
Wood, directed by Bob Baker.

Program dates:

February 12 - May 14, 2017

The deadline for applications is 12 noon (MDT) Monday, April 25.  Auditions
will be held in Toronto, Vancouver, and Edmonton in May, 2016
