VOICE AUDITIONS June 10th - 11am to 7pm
SATB (4 singers)
Style: classical/musical theatre crossover
Prepare:
1 classical piece (lieder/opera/art song/folk song/Christmas song etc.)
1 musical theatre or pop song
1 part in SATB Song accapella (emailed in advance).
*Role includes readings and storytelling
*Singers will be asked to do some basic movement
Possible call backs Sat, June 11

DANCE AUDITIONS - Saturday, June 11th - 930am to 1130am
Casting 5 female dancers
Style: Tap, Jazz, Broadway, Ballet
Come prepared to learn several different styles of dance choreography during
the audition - bring appropriate shoes
Possible call-backs same day

2016 CONTRACT from Nov 14 - Dec 18th, 2016
15 performances Dec 6 - Dec 18
3 venues: (Port Theatre, Nanaimo - Sid Williams Theatre, Courtenay -
McPhearson Theatre, Victoria)
PAID contract for all performers (starting at $2500 for 5-week contract)
Contract based in Nanaimo (including rehearsals)
Accommodation provided if required

Members of CAEA, ACTRA, UDA and UBCP will be engaged under CAEA’s
Dance•Opera•Theatre Policy.

This year's singing and dancing extravaganza includes musical tributes to
Johnny Cash & June Carter, Elvis, Ella Fitzgerald, Abba, the Village People,
broadway showstoppers such as 'I got Rhythm' and a medley from Me & My Girl
as well as many more classical hits and Christmas favourites.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
