Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: Actors of all
ethnicities will be considered and are encouraged to submit.

Due to the subject material of the show, actors who identify as First
Nations, Métis, Aboriginal are highly encouraged to submit.

Gender Neutral casting in effect. Please submit regardless of the sex of the
characters.

Additional information:
REDPATCH is a new play by Raes Calvert and Sean Harris Oliver
produced by Hardline Productions.

Rehearsals begin March 13th, 2017.
Contract ends April 16th, 2017

Actors must also be available for a short workshop in early January 2017 -
dates TBD

Strong skills in physical theatre, movement to music and group choreography
is an absolute must.

Looking to cast:

Jonathon: Age range 18 - 25. First Nations soldier. Young, excitable. Wants
to prove himself as a warrior.

Dickey: Age range 16 - 23.  A young soldier from Winnipeg.

Bam-Bam: Age range 20 - 28. French Canadian soldier from Quebec. (Fluency in
French is a requirement.)

Howard Thomas: Age range. 19 - 28. A medical student from Ontario.

Please note:

Only local jobbers will be considered: Vancouver, BC

Due to the volume of submissions only selected performers will be invited to
audition.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
