Theatre seeks to be a reflection of the audience we serve. For this reason,
we reach out to artists from different cultural backgrounds.
Additional information:
Roseneath Theatre (ITA TYA) is touring an excerpt of our production of The
Money Tree to APAP 2017. It will include 1 day prep, 1 day rehearsal, 1
performance with travel to and from New York.
Duties include:
Attending all rehearsals and meetings
Producing and distributing daily schedules and rehearsal notes as
required
Preparing performance script for tour
Driving company vehicle with set
Supervising and taking part in set up and tear down of set, props, and
costumes at venue
Managing touring paperwork especially as it pertains to crossing the
border
Operating technical equipment during performances (e.g. QLab)
Key Qualifications:
Previous experience with Theatre for Young Audiences
Extensive experience with touring in the United States (including
managing a carnet and liaising with customs)
Strong technical knowledge
Able to load and unload heavy and awkward set pieces in and out of
vehicle
Able to call a lighting focus and assist a technician in programming
lighting cues
Driver's license and clean abstract
Valid passport
Ability to gauge the needs of a show and learn quickly
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills are a must
Equity members hired will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
