Additional information: Toronto Audition

St. Andrews Summer Theatre will hold auditions for the role of Cosme McMoon
in Stephen Temperley's 2 hander, Souvenir.  Souvenir is the story of vocally
challenged opera diva Florence Foster Jenkins as told by her accompanist.
The role of Cosme requires a strong actor who is also a skilled pianist as
the score includes both jazz and opera selections. Cosme McCoon is described
as "a dapper gentleman, 40s-50s". Canadian soprano Sally Dibblee has been
cast in the role of Florence Foster Jenkins.

Actors will be asked to read from the script and play piano from the score
at the audition. A monologue from the script and sheet music will be sent to
auditioning actors in advance, along with audition time and location.
This is a 13 week engagement.  Rehearsals June 11 - 28, performances June
29- Sept 9 in St. Andrews, NB. Equity members cast in this production will
be engaged under an Equity form of contract.

Location: Trinity St. Paul's (Bloor west of Spadina)

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
