Additional information: Creepy and Little Manson Audition Notice

Eastern Front Theatre is holding auditions in Halifax (only) on Monday,
January 18, 2016 for their production of Michael Melski’s new play, Creepy
and Little Manson. The play tells the true story of a hardened criminal who
fears that his guitar student, a young inmate named Charlie Manson, might be
hiding an inner darkness of which few people are aware.

Rehearsals will take place from March 14-30. The show previews on March 31,
closing on April 10 at the Neptune Studio Theatre.

Character Breakdown
Charles Manson - Male aged 24 - 35. A prisoner hoping to gain fame as a
musician. The character is charismatic, intense, likeable, very damaged,
potentially dangerous. Guitar playing experience an asset.

Applicants selected for an audition will be contacted with date, time, and
venue information, plus a full copy of the script and notes on pages with
which to be familiar. Eastern Front Theatre’s Artistic Producer, Jeremy
Webb, and the production’s playwright and director, Michael Melski, will be
in attendance at the auditions.

by Thursday, January 14, 2016. Please indicate preferred time to audition,
on Jan 18th. Every effort will be made to accommodate actors’ schedules.

Eastern Front Theatre encourages submissions from artists of all diverse
backgrounds. Members of Canadian Actors Equity Association will be seen
first at all auditions. Only those artists we wish to see will be contacted
for an audition.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
