Theatre seeks to be a reflection of the audience we serve. For this reason,
we reach out to artists from different cultural backgrounds.

Additional information:
Roseneath Theatre (ITA TYA) is touring our production of Spirit Horse by
Drew Hayden Taylor to Young Peoples Theatre, the Sudbury Theatre Centre &
schools in northern Ontario and the Ottawa area. Contract is for 1 week
prep, 3 weeks rehearsal, 7 weeks school and venue tour
tour, including several weeks out of the GTA.

Duties include:
• Preparation of rehearsal hall
• Attending all rehearsals and meetings
• Producing and distributing daily schedules and rehearsal notes as required
• Preparing performance script for tour
• Driving company vehicle
• Supervising and taking part in set up and tear down of set, props, and
costumes at each school
• Setting up and tearing down audio equipment for each performance
• Operating technical equipment during performances (e.g. QLab)

Key Qualifications:
• Previous experience with Theatre for Young Audiences
• Previous experience in school touring
• Strong technical knowledge
•Able to load and unload heavy and awkward set pieces in and out of vehicle
• First Aid and CPR-A
• Driver's license

Strong communication and conflict resolution skills are a must

Upon hiring, a Police Vulnerable Sector Check must be completed.
