Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: Theatre Direct
is dedicated to diverse casting and encourages submissions from all ethnic
and aboriginal backgrounds.

Additional information: In preparation for the 2016/17 season, Lynda Hill,
Artistic & Executive Director of Theatre Direct, will be holding General
Auditions in Toronto, ON.

Auditions will take place on Thursday, June 23 for Equity Members and Friday
June 24, 2016 for Non-Equity Members
No agent submissions will be accepted at this time. In your submission,
please format ONE PDF document which includes your up-to-date resume, one
current headshot and a letter stating your interest in Theatre Direct and
Theatre for Young Audiences and submit to Beth Beardsley
(tdauditions at gmail.com) no later than 10am EDT on Monday June 20th, 2016.

Please note Theatre Direct produces under the CTA agreement and priority
will be given to members of Canadian Actors' Equity Association. Non-members
will be offered remaining spots.

Audition applicants will be asked to prepare:
•  two contrasting monologues no longer than 2 minutes each
•  a short a capella song.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
