The Station Arts Centre is looking for one female and one male actor to fill
two roles only for their summer theatre production of:Armin Wiebe's "The
Moonlight Sonata of Beethoven Blatz":
1.Obrum Kehler (Kay-ler) A farmer/carpenter, aged 28. (male)
2.Teen A mid-wife, aged 30. (female)
This is a comic folk play where classical music and folk culture collide. It
is set on a 1930's Manitoba prairie homestead. There are four characters: a
farm wife, a refugee from the Russian Revolution, a carpenter (Obrum) and a
midwife (Teen).
Rehearsals run for 3 weeks, starting June 17,2016. The show Previews July 8,
Opens July 9 and closes August 7, 2016.
Auditions will be held March 29th in Saskatoon. Saskatchewan applicants are
a priority. Knowledge of Low German culture is an asset but not a necessity.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
