This workshop will give you an integrated set of tools from physical theatre
training and system-based acting techniques. This is a physical approach to
character building and will require movement-appropriate clothing. The
second component is writing from character to develop rich, nuanced fiction
in real time, for one-person shows to web series.

Students will prepare a 32 Bar cut of a song from the musical theatre cannon
which will be worked on in class. An accompanist will be provided.

Students will be sent a scene a week ahead of time to prepare for the day of
class.
