Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
1 actor to play multiple roles of a Black/Mixed race male character ranging
between a child of 5 years old to a man aged 55.

Character Descriptions:
George Palmer, age 40. Immigrated to Canada from Jamaica as a child.
Mechanic. Single father of Angel, (she is age 20). Alcoholic. Angry affect,
soft on the inside.
Actor also plays George at age 5.

Frank Jones. Age 55. Canadian, retired cop, now landlord in mid-sized town
in southern Ontario. Soft-hearted and astute.

Rex Palmer. George's father. Jamaican. Mentally ill. Domestic abuser.

Steve Bester. Boyfriend of George's daughter Angel. Canadian, early 20s.
Addict and violent abuser.

Additional information:
Mysterious Entity is a Peterborough-based not for profit theatre company
committed to producing original work based on fostering positive social
change through the creation and production of theatre. Act On It! Visit our
website for more information about the company. Show will take place in
Peterborough in late May, early June 2016.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
