holding General Auditions in Winnipeg for
Manitoba Theatre for Young People’s 2016/2017 Season on:

Thursday, May 19th, 2016
Friday, May 20th, 2016.

Actors are invited to submit a headshot and resume. Auditions will be by
appointment only. Actors are asked to prepare two contrasting monologues of
their choice, no longer than two minutes in length each. Alternatively,
actors may prepare one monologue and a contrasting song to be sung with an
instrumental CD or acapella.

Note: Digital submissions must be in PDF format.

Deadline for submissions is Sunday, May 15th, 2016. Successful applicants
will be contacted to schedule an audition time. Please include a current
phone number and email address.

Actors who wish to be considered for the 2016/2017 season are encouraged to
participate in general auditions. Actors who were seen at 2015/2016 general
auditions will be considered for show specific auditions and need not
resubmit.

Manitoba Theatre for Young People is a member of the Professional
Association of Canadian Theatres and engages professional artists who are
members of Canadian Actors’ Equity Association under the terms of the
Canadian Theatre Agreement.

MTYP welcomes submissions from artists of all genders and ethnicities.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
