Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: Carousel Theatre
for Young People is committed to diversity in its casting and welcomes
submissions from all ethnic/cultural backgrounds for all auditions.

Additional information:

Carousel Theatre for Young People is seeking trained adult musical theatre
actors for A Charlie Brown Christmas, directed by Carole Higgins. Contract
dates are expected to be November 4-December 31, 2016
Auditions will be held in Vancouver.

We are seeking submissions for the following roles:
•  Lucy
•  Sally/Patty (this role will be double cast
•  Frieda
•  Violet
•  Pig Pen (special skill required: Pig Pen needs to play the stand-up bass
to a high standard)
•  Linus
•  Shermy (special skill required: Shermy needs to play the drums to a high
standard)

The roles of Snoopy, Schroeder and Charlie Brown have been cast.

interest to auditions at carouseltheatre.ca. Only those selected for an
audition will be contacted.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
