The 2016/2017 Season

Lunchbox Theatre is now accepting applications for the 2016/2017 RBC
Emerging Director Program.

The RBC Emerging Director Program invites Calgary theatre practitioners who
are either in the initial stages of their professional careers, or looking
to shift the focus of their professional career, to advance their
directorial talents and artistic skills through a combination of mentorship
and hands-on experience.

The Emerging Director will act as the Assistant Director for up to four of
Lunchbox Theatre’s productions in the season, allowing them to work with
professional directors, designers and artists. They  then have the
opportunity to direct a full showcase production at the conclusion of the
season, with five public performances in June, designed to showcase the
Emerging Director’s work to other industry professionals. Compensation at
CAEA rates is offered for the showcase production.
