NOTE: The script will be available to read at MTYP. The sides will be
available after Tuesday, May 10 on MTYP’s website www.mtyp.ca.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
Tom — A fifteen year old boy who rides the bus until it shuts down. Tom, who
is “not the most popular. But not the biggest loser either”, tells stories,
some real and some imagined, about the people he encounters along the way.
Tom is wrestling with questions of violence in his school, in his city and
in his home. He plays all the characters.
Please submit by Tuesday, May 17, 2016, to casting at mtyp.ca.
Auditions will be by appointment only.
Successful applicants will be contacted by email to schedule an audition
time.
Manitoba Theatre for Young People is a member of the Professional
Association of Canadian Theatres and engages professional artists who are
members of Canadian Actors’ Equity Association under the terms of the
Canadian Theatre Agreement.
Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
