The Arts Club Theatre is committed to diversity in its casting and
encourages submissions from all ethnic/cultural backgrounds for all
auditions.

Additional information:
The Arts Club Theatre Company seeks  experienced actors for the following
roles in THE PIANO TEACHER by Dorothy Dittrich, running April 20–May 14,
2017.

ELAINE: 40+.  Any ethnicity.  Must have ability to play piano and read music
Accomplished pianist, classically trained, now a teacher with some
unconventional approaches. Elaine has found her way through life with music
and has much to teach but there are still things she does not know.

ERIN: 35–45.  Any ethnicity.  Must have the ability to play piano and read
music
Classical pianist, dealing with the aftermath of devastating loss, making it
impossible to play music. Strong, intelligent, gentle and good-humoured, but
shut down emotionally. Desperate to return to her craft.

TOM: 35–50.  Any ethnicity.
Construction worker/builder. Optimistic, confident, risk-taking and
sensitive. A musician in heart and soul, who's had no opportunity to express
this.

Those selected to audition will be asked to prepare material from the script
and play 2 minutes of music of their choice.
