Additional information:
Downstage and Forte Musical Theatre are auditioning for the role of Eleanor
Flood on Monday, November 28 for their World Premiere of Crime Does Not Pay,
a new musical by David Rhymer and Kris Demeanor in Calgary, Alberta.
To apply for an audition, please email Artistic Associate Lara Schmitz at
lara at downstage.ca with headshot, resume, and a brief statement of interest
by November 18. In order to extend equal opportunity to Artists who reside
outside of the Theatre’s point of origin and who cannot audition in person
due to location, Artists may submit video submissions to Downstage for
consideration.
We thank all applicants for their interest and will notify you either way
regarding our ability to grant you an audition. If selected, you will be
asked to prepare a scene from the play and two contrasting one-minute songs
of your choice.
