Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: This posting is
trying to find an appropriate understudy for an Asian Pacific Female Role.
We want to stay true to the original artists' written material in the Show.

THE SECOND CITY TORONTO
UNDERSTUDY AUDITION

The Second City Toronto is hosting Understudy Auditions on Friday, September
9th, 2016. The Second City is looking for an Understudy for their new show
Come What Mayhem! Due to the material written by the original artist, we
would like to try and stay true to it when she is booked out. Though we
would like to see everyone, we are looking for something specific this time
around. Everyone else please submit in April 2017 for our General Auditions.

Information for all Applicants:
Applicants should have a strong background in improvisation and/or sketch
comedy.  Generally, one year of training and/or performance experience is a
minimum requirement.
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the time they
apply.
Both Equity/ACTRA and Non-Union actors may apply.
Equity Members will have priority
Only qualified applicants will be given appointments.
Clearly indicate if you are a Second City Conservatory Graduate, What Year &
Who Directed You

Please email your picture and resume (which must include relevant
improv/sketch experience) to torontoauditions at secondcity.com prior to
September 7th, 2016.  Only email submissions will be accepted. NO PHONE
CALLS, PLEASE.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
