Registration is now open for the 2017 S.M.Arts conference in Toronto.

Dates: Thursday, April 20th to Saturday, April 29th, 2017
Equity Day: Friday, April 28, 2017
Apprenticeship Trust Fund Party: April 29, 2017

S.M.Arts Conference Director Janelle Rainville, Conference Associate Jeff
Morris and experts in the field host a series of seminars exploring the many
aspects of the craft of stage management. These sessions provide a
comfortable environment for new or experienced stage managers to hone their
skills.

The Conference is designed for both the student stage manager who wants to
know more about their career choice and the experienced stage manager who is
looking for diversification within their field.

The conference consists of 22 courses over 10-days that range in topics from
basic skills (Reading music, Calling a Show) to genres of stage management
(Television, Special Events) and from advanced skills for the Equity Stage
Manager (Training Apprentices, Working in a Digital World) to courses for
your future (Resumes, Career Transitioning).
