Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: The Thousand
Islands Playhouse strives to reflect the diversity of our society in our
productions and play development activities. We encourage performers of
all backgrounds and identities to apply.

Additional information:
 The Thousand Islands Playhouse will be holding General Auditions this May
in Toronto. Auditions will take place on Thursday, May 4 and Friday, May
5 in Toronto. Associate Artistic Director Rob Kempson will be in
attendance.

Successful audition applicants will be asked to prepare the following:
Two contrasting monologues, each NO LONGER than 2 minutes in length.
Comedic and/or Canadian pieces are great selections for us.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: General Auditions are not for the 2017 season;
rather, they allow us to meet new performers for consideration in future
seasons at the Playhouse.

Those who have auditioned for Ms. Corcoran or Thousand Islands Playhouse
within the last two years need not submit. You will not be invited for a
general audition this year. We strongly encourage performers of all
backgrounds and identities to apply.

Interested applicants are asked to submit a resume, headshot, and cover
letter to auditions at 1000islandsplayhouse.com, attention: Rob Kempson,
Associate Artistic Director. Please clearly indicate your Equity status in
the SUBJECT HEADING. Electronic submissions only. No phone calls please.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT:  Monday, April 24, 2017 at 5:00pm

We thank everyone for their interest, but only selected applicants will be
contacted to arrange an audition.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
