Additional information:
Groundling Theatre company is seeking performers for their 2018 production
of King Lear at Harbourfront Centre, directed by Graham Abbey.

We are auditioning for the roles of:
Edmund
Cordelia
Goneril
Regan
Albany
Cornwall

The roles of Lear, Fool, Edgar, Kent and Gloucester have been cast.  This
show will require actors to perform several minor roles alongside their
principle role. As music will be a key part of the production any and all
musical skills are most welcome.

HOW TO APPLY:

Please email a headshot and resume to admin at marquisent.ca by Friday April
21, 2017. Please indicate in the subject line if you are Equity or
non-Equity, your name and the role you would like to be considered for. Only
those selected for an audition will be contacted.

If selected, you will be asked to prepare one Shakespearean monologue. We
also ask that you be prepared to read a scene that corresponds to the
character you are auditioning for. The scenes have been selected from The
Arden Shakespeare, Complete Works, Revised Edition and will be indicated
when an audition time is confirmed.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
