submissions from diverse artists of all backgrounds, regardless of race,

Additional information:

Western Canada Theatre is holding General Auditions in Vancouver. Artistic
Director James MacDonald will be in attendance.  Details about our 2017/18
season are available on our website – www.wctlive.ca

General Auditions will take May 8 & 9, 2017.

Successful audition applicants will be asked to prepare the following:

Two contrasting monologues, one Canadian and one classical, each NO LONGER
than 2 minutes in length.
OR
One monologue of your choice and one song (sung a cappella), each NO LONGER
than 2 minutes in length.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: We are particularly interested in hearing from
artists of diverse cultural background. Please note that due to time
considerations, all artists who submit may not be seen at this audition
call, though we will keep your information on file for future references.

Interested applicants are asked to submit a resume and headshot in PDF
format to heather at wctlive.ca.  Please put GENERAL AUDITIONS in the subject
line. Please note – requests for video submissions will not be accepted.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT:  5 pm, Thursday, April 27th, 2017

We thank everyone for their interest, but only selected applicants will be
contacted to arrange an audition.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
