Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: Forte strives to
reflect our diverse society in its productions and encourages actors of all
ethnicities and cultures to apply.

Additional information:
Forte Musical Theatre is casting for "Touch Me: Songs for a (dis)Connected
Age” to be presented in partnership with Theatre Calgary.

Actor 1: playing male roles ranging in age from 25 to 60.
Vocal range is Tenor/High Baritone with an ability to sing in strong
falsetto in a Frankie Valli style (to B4). An ability to play acoustic
guitar is essential to this track.

Actor 2: playing male roles ranging in age from 16 to 32. Vocal range is
Baritone and an ability to play drum kit is essential to this track.

All actors are required to sing in close harmony and need strong musical
skills.

Those chosen for auditions will be asked to prepare a musical theatre song
as well as a song from the show. You will be asked to prepare a guitar or
drum part from the score and have the option of playing a short piece of
your choice that showcases your ability. An accompanist will be provided or
you may bring your own accompanist.

Auditions will be held the afternoon of Monday, May 15th in Calgary.

Rehearsals begin on Tuesday September 5th and the production runs from
September 26th to October 7th.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
