Western Canada Theatre is holding auditions for ARMSTRONG’S WAR by Colleen
Murphy, directed by Heather Cant.

VANCOUVER AUDITIONS:  May 10

Roles to be cast:

HALLEY ARMSTRONG: Age 12
A Pathfinder set on earning her community service badge by reading books to
patients in the hospital. She is clever, precocious, inquisitive, and
overwhelmingly chatty. Halley has a spinal cord injury and uses a
wheelchair.
  *please note we are seeking adult actors that play young for this role.

CORPORAL MICHAEL ARMSTRONG:  Age 21
A Canadian soldier recovering in the rehabilitation wing of a hospital after
a military tour of Afghanistan. He carries with him the physical and
emotional scars of active combat, and suffers from PTSD.

CONTRACT DATES: March 26 – April 21, 2018
