2017-2020 VANCOUVER OPERA AGREEMENT RATIFIED

Recently negotiated changes to the 2017-2020 Vancouver Opera Agreement (VOA)
with the Vancouver Opera were ratified in a mail-in vote (only) concluding
August 10, 2017.

The voting return rate was 36.2%. Regular, Regular - Extended Visa and Life
Equity members, in good standing and who worked under the VOA during the
2014-2017 term, were eligible to vote in the ratification. They voted 95.7%
in support of the proposed changes.

Minimum fees for the 2017-2018 Season will revert to the fees from the
2015-2016 season and will remain at that same level for the 2018-2019
season. Minimum fees will return to the 2016-2017 levels for 2019-2020. All
other monetary amounts will remain at the 2016-2017 level for the duration
of this Agreement.

The ratified changes retroactively come into effect as of July, 1, 2017 for
a three-year term.

The new VOA will be available on EQUITYONLINE (http://www.caea.com) as soon
as possible. Please contact Equity's National Office for any information in
