EQUITY HONOURS AWARD NOMINATION DEADLINE IS OCTOBER 1

Equity members, Council needs your assistance.

The Honours Committee is currently collecting nominations for the 2018 suite
of Honours.

Do you know someone who has made a positive impact on our profession in live
performance?

• LIFE MEMBERSHIP is awarded to a member of Equity who has made an
outstanding contribution to the performing arts within our jurisdiction.

• HONORARY MEMBERSHIP is awarded to a non-member of Equity who has made an
outstanding contribution to the Association and/or its members, or to the
performing arts.

• The LARRY McCANCE AWARD is presented to Equity members in good standing or
to former staff members who have made an outstanding contribution to the
Association.

• The CAEA AWARD OF DISTINCTION is presented to express appreciation to an
organization, individual, or group of individuals in recognition of their
significant contribution benefiting the Equity Membership. This award is
intended for recipients who are not eligible for the other three awards.

Who has made a difference in your discipline  or on your career path? Let us
know! Fill out the fillable online form ( http://bit.ly/2w8kADU ) and email
your nomination and supporting materials to the Honours Committee
(honours at caea.com). Contact Councillor Paula Wolfson (paulaw at caea.com),
Honours Committee liaison, with any questions. The deadline for nominations
is October 1, 2017.

The Honours Committee encourages nominations that are representative of the
diverse membership in the Association. We seek member nominations and
nominees from all demographics (particularly those who self-identify on the
basis of ability, age, ancestry, belief, ethnicity, gender, health, race or
sexual orientation, or intersections of any of these).
