Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: As always, the
Shaw Festival encourages submissions from Artists of all ethno-cultural
backgrounds.
Additional information:
The Shaw Festival is currently accepting applications for the positions of
Apprentice Stage Manager for the upcoming 2018 season.
The Shaw is one of Canada’s largest repertory theatre companies that produce
works written during or about the time of George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950) or
work that carries the spirit into the contemporary world. The company is
located in Niagara-on-the-Lake and operates during the months of
February-November inclusive.
For the 2018 season the Shaw Festival is presenting 12 plays in repertory at
3 theatres. The Shaw Festival is a member of PACT and engages members of
CAEA as well as members of IATSE. The successful candidate will have had
past experience working in the field of professional stage management
including completion of at least 3 CAEA apprentice credits. The individual
will display strong organizational skills as well as excellent communication
and flexibility.
The engagement period is February 5, 2018 through October, 2018
