Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: Sheatre welcomes
submissions from artists of all diverse backgrounds.

Additional information:
Sheatre requires a Stage Manager for our spring  production of Be Our Ally,
a TYA touring Theatre Forum show that engages youth on the issue of
homophobic bullying.  The show will be touring to schools and community
venues across Ontario.

Additional information:
When Tommy asks Zack to the school dance, he is taunted and beaten up by the
“cool” kids, betrayed by Zack and unsupported by his family. His thoughts
turn to suicide and Zack is tormented by guilt. In this interactive drama
about homophobia for grades 5 - 12, audience members help Tommy to confront
his tormentors and change the situation for the better.  This award-winning
TYA Theatre Forum production will tour Ontario schools in April and May.

Requirements:
Skilled at working with computers to run sound and video.  Applicants must
have a minimum of two years' experience, a clear criminal record check, and
hold a valid driver’s license. Applicants with TYA or touring experience
will be given preference.
