All Equity members in good standing are encouraged to attend the National
Annual General Meeting (NAGM) in Toronto, Ontario.

Date: Monday, February 27, 2017
Time: 7:00-10:00 p.m. (Doors open at 6:30 p.m.)

ACT I
- Reports from the Council President and Executive Director, with updates on
current initiatives. These reports will be recorded and available to all
members on Equity's website at a later date.
- Receipt of the audited financial statements and appointment of the auditor
for the coming year . Reports on Council committee activities

Break - Refreshments and snacks will be served.

ACT II
- Launch of 'Not In OUR Space!' campaign

A portion of the evening will be devoted to unveiling the first phase of the
Not In OUR Space! campaign. Working in collaboration with the Professional
Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT), select theatres across Canada are
taking part in a pilot where new campaign materials will be placed in the
workspace for the first time.

Equity and PACT are joining forces to support members and PACT engagers in
making professional live performance spaces free from personal and sexual
harassment.

More details about the Not In OUR Space! campaign providing Equity members
with greater support and direct assistance will also be revealed, in tandem
with an interactive presentation about harassment in live performance
spaces.
