Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: Factory Theatre
is committed to inclusive casting.  We encourage submissions from
professional artists of all genders, ethnicities, and abilities.

Additional information:
Factory Theatre is holding general auditions for its upcoming season
workshops and productions on August 15, 16, 17, 2017. Selected performers
should prepare two contrasting monologues written by Canadian playwrights;
each must be one minute or less in length for a total of two minutes.
Auditions are by appointment only and priority will be given to members of
Canadian Actors’ Equity Association. Non-members will only be seen on August
16th and 17th. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, August 1, 2017.

Factory Theatre is committed to inclusive casting.  We encourage submissions
from professional artists of all genders, backgrounds, and abilities.

Please note:

Actors may only audition for Factory once every three years. Please do not
submit if you have auditioned for us since 2014.

We are not accepting recorded or Skype audition requests.

We are only accepting audition requests for the dates indicated. If you are
not available on these dates, please do not submit.

We are only accepting audition requests from artists who are legally able to
work in Canada.

As you can appreciate, we handle a large volume of submissions and would
welcome your help in providing the best possible consideration for you/your
clients. Please read these submission instructions carefully; failure to
adhere to these instructions means we will not see you, and late or
incomplete submissions will not be considered.

Founded in 1970, Factory Theatre was the first theatre company in the nation
to devote itself to producing 100% Canadian content. 48 seasons later
Factory continues to lead in the development and sharing of Canadian
stories, having produced more than 300 productions from a wide array of
Canadian creators and launching the careers of countless theatre
professionals.
