Niagara's award-winning theatre for young audiences, Carousel Players, is
pleased to invite applications for the full-time position of Artistic
Director to start in January 2018. The Artistic Director’s primary function
is to articulate and execute Carousel Players’ artistic programming within
sound fiscal guidelines. The Artistic Director is accountable for all
artistic programming and is responsible for all elements of performance and
production. A detailed job description is available upon request.

You should have a proven ability to successfully select and develop
programming for young audiences; cultivate and compose creative teams; and
guide and inspire artists, staff, and Board members. You may have experience
providing directorial and/or dramaturgical support to new work development.
You are a director or artistic director who has experience working in small
to mid-size theatres. Short-listed candidates may be asked to present
programming ideas for a season. Candidates must be willing to relocate to
the Niagara region.
