Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: Comedy Show
Canada 150 Inc. always encourages submissions from Artists of all
ethno-cultural backgrounds.

Additional information:
Canada, It’s Complicated is a brand new production in development by Mary
Walsh featuring sketches and satirical songs that examine the joys, foibles,
tragedies and triumphs of Canada as it is today and into the future.
Canada, It’s Complicated is being written in collaboration with leading
Canadian comedians, musicians and playwrights.

Mary Walsh will direct Canada, It’s Complicated.

Rehearsal for the show will be August 14-September 1, 2017 in St. John’s.
Actors who are not from St. John’s will travel to St. John’s  on August
13th.
The tour will begin September 3rd and continue through to November 13th.

Beginning in Labrador in early September 2017, Canada, It’s Complicated will
tour Canada for approximately 10 weeks, as it travels across the country to
a broad range of venues, including Sheshatshiu, Labrador; Conne River,
Newfoundland; The National Arts Centre in Ottawa; Iqaluit in Nunavut;
Yellowknife in NWT; and, Whitehorse in Yukon.

Equity members hired will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
