2017-2020 ROYAL WINNIPEG BALLET AGREEMENT RATIFIED

Recently negotiated changes to the 2017-2020 Royal Winnipeg Ballet Agreement
(RWBA) with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet were ratified in a mail-in vote (only)
concluded Thursday, June 8, 2017.

The voting return rate was 66.7%. Regular, Regular - Extended Visa,
Associate and Life Equity members, in good standing and who worked under the
RWBA during the 2014-2017 term, were eligible to vote in the ratification.
They voted 75% in support of the proposed changes.

Minimum fees increase not less than 2% for any returning Artist in each year
of the ratified RWBA. The Agreement also introduces a simplified minimum fee
grid structure for Artists joining the company. Overtime increases for each
year are included in the new fee grid. The per diem amount remains
unchanged.

The ratified changes will come into effect on July 1, 2017 and the 2017-2020
RWBA will expire on June 30, 2020.

The new RWBA will be available on EQUITYONLINE (http://www.caea.com) as soon
as possible. Please contact Equity's National Office in the interim for any
information.
