"CAEZR: What Would You Die For...?" to be presented at the SpringWorks
Festival in Stratford, Ontario from October 12th-22nd.

Description:
Destabilizing split-second decisions by world leaders find us on the brink
of global economic and political disintegration.  In the largely unceded
territory of Cascadia, a cabal of elite power-brokers play a deadly endgame
to control the last bastion of resource-based wealth on the continent.

Current Collaborators: Sandra Ferens, Nick Preston, Victoria Lyons

Because the show deals with issues surrounding colonization, we seek to
assemble a diverse cast, particularly those with backgrounds from countries
with a history of colonization. Some roles have already been cast. Seeking:

Julius – Male Identifying – First Nations
Casca - Open Gender
Brutus - Female Identifying
Age: All roles to play 30+

This project requires artists who are passionate about creating theatre that
matters, and are interested in developing a show in a collaborative and
non-hierarchical process. Experience with classical text an asset.

The Stratford Springworks Festival meets the eligibility requirements of
Equity’s Festival Policy. Therefore, Equity members cast in this production
will be engaged under Equity’s Festival Policy. Equity members will be seen
first at all open audition calls. CAEA members: please bring your membership
card to the audition.
