THE SECOND CITY TORONTO
GENERAL AUDITIONS 2017

The Second City Toronto is casting for their House Ensemble, Understudies,
and Touring Performers. Auditions are by appointment only, and will be held
between April 24th-28th, 2017.

Information for all Applicants:
Applicants should have a strong background in improvisation and/or sketch
comedy. Generally, one year of training and/or performance experience is a
minimum requirement.
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the time they
apply.
Both Equity/ACTRA and Non-Union actors may apply.

Equity Members will have priority
Only qualified applicants will be given appointments.
Clearly indicate if you are a Second City Conservatory Graduate, What Year &
Who Directed You

Regardless of improv/sketch experience, we are very interested in meeting
comedic actors who reflect the cultural diversity of Toronto. We are hosting
our annual Diversity and Inclusion Series Weekend April 22nd-24th, 2017
including a Meet & Greet and Free Workshops for actors of colour. Come learn
more about The Second City and opportunities for training, scholarships and
work.  Email torontoauditions at secondcity.com for more information with
“Diversity Weekend” in the subject line.

Please email your picture and resume (which must include relevant
improv/sketch experience) to torontoauditions at secondcity.com prior to April
10th, 2017.  Only email submissions will be accepted. NO PHONE CALLS,

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
