Productions encourages submissions from artists of all ethno-cultural
backgrounds.

VOICE AUDITIONS - Friday, June 9th - 11am-6pm (Jarislowsky)
SATB (4 singers) - classical/musical theatre crossover
Prepare:
1 classical (lieder/opera/art song/folk song/Christmas song etc.)
1 musical theatre or pop song
1 part of SATB Song A Capella (will be emailed in advance).
*Role includes readings and storytelling
*Singers may also be asked to learn some basic movement during audition.

DANCE AUDITIONS - Saturday, June 10th - 9am-1130am (Mirna Zagar)
5 female dancers
Style: Tap, Jazz, Broadway, Ballet
Please come prepared to learn several different styles of dance choreography
during the audition - bring appropriate shoes

2017 CONTRACT from Nov 13 - Dec 17th, 2017
15 performances Dec 5 - Dec 17
3 venues: (Port Theatre, Nanaimo  - Sid Williams Theatre, Courtenay -
McPhearson Theatre, Victoria)
PAID contract for all performers
Contract based in Nanaimo (including rehearsals)
Members of CAEA, ACTRA, UDA and UBCP will be engaged under CAEA’s
Dance•Opera•Theatre Policy

This year's singing and dancing extravaganza includes musical tributes to
The Beatles, Nina Simone and Rod Stewart, broadway showstoppers from 'Mary
Poppins', hit numbers from 'Top Gun', a country medley as well as many more
classical hits and Christmas favourites.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members
cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
